REFLECTOR: hole in the prop

MessageI was going to varnish the wood, then thought that maybe the bare wood center hole is there to let moisture out.

  I think it is fair to assume it was necessary for construction of the prop.  Quite certain it was necessary for balancing it.  I don't believe there is a need to fill it.  If you should have any maintenance, or possibly a need for re-pitch, it would have to be there.

    I got my Prince propeller this week. Why is there a hole through the center of the hub? Should I plug it up with something? It's unvarnished wood.
