I used to sell Franklin Engines at Oshkosh, and it struck me as interesting
the difference in advertising feedback one gets from a convention style
setup.
The vendor gets immediate feedback on sales tactics that aren't there with
TV or Radio. 

I don't think the customers understand this difference.

I love walking through all of the various displays.  I make it a point to go
fiddle and pick up and play with the displays if they are half interesting.
The boring stuff I don't bother with.  If the vendor sees that some widget
has  three people waiting to play with it, he knows that's a good thing to
have to attract customers.

For the split kit thing, people need to ask questions about it so that
Velocity knows if there is any interest.  We are the choir here, so the
split kit is not of much relevance to us; however the lesson is there about
other offerings that Velocity makes available to us like Velocity
University.

I love the Velocity University, but have never gone.  I have my excuses for
now, but I hope to attend the next one.  At the least I need to make it over
there for a good factory checkout.  I hope that I can make the two overlap,
but that may not happen.

Just an observation.  Unless Velocity asks us for an opinion, it's up to us
to make our feelings known so they know what we like and what we don't like.
The Velocity Employees are inside the bubble and can't see outside of it
clearly.  Only those outside the bubble can see things as they are.
