REFLECTOR: sand blasting

My motor mount has a few specs of rust peaking through the paint, so I'm going to strip it and paint it. I read something about stripping paint with walnut shells instead of sand blasting. I couldn't find anything in AC 43.13 about that. Is there any reason why I shouldn't strip the paint of my motor mount by sand blasting it?
