You can use the Jeti speed controller combined with the servo controller for motor speed control. Use an OPTO brushed Jeti - and it works fine.

John,
Thanks for the info. The info you supplied is for positioning servo motors as would be found in radio controlled or robotic applications. I was looking for info on variable speed controllers for continuous DC motors.
If you are using any positioning servos (RC) you may want to consider another product http://store.qkits.com/moreinfo.cfm/QK102 The QK102 can control 4 servo motors from one board and only costs $20. The kit includes all board components except for the potentiometers. The input for the controller can be via potentiometer or as in my case driven by an analog output from the computer system.
Thanks,
Joe

Here is one way....
Use an OPTO brushed Radio Control ESC (speed controller) - i.e. Jeti

Hi Kurt,
Do you have any info on the motor controller, drawings, etc.
Thanks,
Joe

Larry. Don't have a specific number. Somewhere I read that a Long-EZ was using a blower motor from a VW rabbit. I found one and sure enough, it is extremely light weight and forces a LOT of air.
To avoid using up unnecessary electrons creating heat (resistor type speed controls) I used a solid state motor controller. It has on/off and infinite speed control.
