REFLECTOR: brass fittings on engine?

NO!!  Don t do that!  All the engine compartment fittings should be 
steel for strength and fire resistance.   I only have 3 hoses in my 
entire engine compartment.  One is the flex hose from the firewall to 
the fuel pump, the other tow are to and from the oil cooler.   All the 
rest are Stainless steel lines.
