REFLECTOR: Shipping a Velocity overseas

We brought a 173 Elite RG from Dale Alexander. All the bulkheads were
installed, wings and canard were 90% complete, fuselage half's were
joined with the spar fitted. We had Dale cut the ends off the spar so it
would fit into a shipping container and I brought a new spar from the
factory. I have since installed the new spar and the fuel strakes are
well underway. I don't know if you can get it in a container on a 45dec
angle, we didn't have time to find out, it saved US$5k just to cut the
spar and buy a new one.
