REFLECTOR: Transponder

Thanks to all.  I tried Houston Center and Memphis and local at Monroe,
La.  all neg pick up.  Took it by the avionics shop and was told
transmitter is extremely weak and barely detectable.  Will replace.

Appreciate help.  Tried the antennae and cable route no help.

Thanks again.

May be to Oshkosh sans transponder.

Rene,

Try a local A&P school.  In Greenville there were two different fellows
who did transponder certs as a moonlite job.  If you found one, he might
be able to help you eliminate or identify things.

Hum-m-m; I just had my transponder cert done - 10 minute job; $100.
Maybe next time I'll look for a moonlighter.
