Lonnie's props flex and flatten under heavy load -- takeoff power.  This
will reduce the pitch.  This is a feature he worked to incorporate.  It
"relaxes" as the load comes off.  Lonnie describes this on his site.  He
refers to it as "coning forward".

This is not at all a constant speed prop.  It does provide an approximation
though.

This allows a higher pitch for better cruise while giving pretty good
takeoff and climb performance.

I'm sure this is part of his equation.

That does seem a bit much in comparison to what Catto recommends. You'll 
probably have it long before I see the Catto I ordered in August. Give
