With my aircraft on jacks the mains hang down but sitting on the gear with fuel in the tanks I have a slight nose up attitude.

Subject: REFLECTOR: sanity check: horizontality
Just a sanity check question:
When I level my airplane for-to-aft (using the firewall as a 90 degree reference as I've been taught on this list), the nose wheel is about 2'' to 2.5'' (inches) higher than the main wheels. Is this the case for everybody else?
It is too late to do anything about this at this stage (I've already installed my canard and one lower strake!); I mainly ask this question because it keeps comming my mind and want to get rid of it, so I can sleep better :-)
Thank you,
Grigore
