REFLECTOR: Builder POH additions

Al,

It has been my experience that a 180# difference in fuel weight makes only a minor difference in performance but a 180# passenger in the front seat makes a very noticeable difference. I add about 5 knots. to my rotate speed with a front passenger. If you develop performance numbers for your aircraft at gross and a near minimum weight you should be able to apply the KOCH chart by interpolating your current weight to find the performance figures.

The KOCH chart is a great reference for temp and altitude. Is there some standard reference for the effect of aircraft weight?
