REFLECTOR: Transponder Antennas

Where have other located their antennas and what type?

I made an octagonal ground plane and mounted it and antenna between the
battery holder and the canard bulkhead under the gear pump as shown in the
photos. Haven't had any issues with controllers seeing me. Vary short cable
run to the TX. IFRC, the distance across the corners is a quarter wave of
the middle of the transponder frequencies.
