REFLECTOR: engine size & CS prop

Hmnnn, checked my 3 blade Catto prop down at the farm yesterday & the
sticker on it says: 66" diameter and 72" pitch, configured for 200HP Lyc in
173 RG Velocity with 2300rpm static and 2800rpm cruise. Craig Catto told me
in an email this morning that it is typical to add 500rpm between static and
cruise for his product but gave no idea of what to expect in terms of
performance. Seeing I have it in hand way way down here, he said I should
just try it and see what happens.

I remain curious; has anybody got any idea/feeling/experience of how this
prop might perform on a SE RG instead of the large wing it was intended for?
I would guess I would have a little less air resistance on take off, a
longer takeoff roll at a little higher speed, a bit better cruise climb, but
what about top end?

Yes, like all of you, of course I want the factory cruise of 187kts,
miraculously short take off, and high rate of climb! (When you only live
once you want everything to be perfect!)

If its a CS(constant speed) static and cruise rpms don't really mean any
thing as you can set it to what ever you want. Correct??
