Merry Christgmas Michael !!

The topic you seek is 'Pitch Trim Resistor'.

Thread began 3/1/2002 thru 3/5/200, then topic morphed to 'Trim Motor (12V) circuit follow-up.

Let me know if you can't find in archives: I have all the old reflector emails.

Best Regards,

Jeff Barnes

I know this subject was discussed in the past, but I just can't find
it in the TVBF archives and I don't want to reinvent the wheel.

Above 140 KIAS to obtain OOO level flight the trim is just too
sensitive. One tap up from 5ft down on the VIS will result in
a VSI reading of 10 to 15 ft up and visa verse. I recall someone
placing a resistor/resistors in the trim power line to reduce the
voltage to the trim motor. What value/wattage was used and
was it effective?
