REFLECTOR: Velocity aircraft in X-plane

It is a complete program all by itself- I have a couple of older versions of
it- fly's well, but the instructions are seriously lacking.

Is X-Plane a complete software or is it just an add on to Ms Flight
Simulator.

If I already own X-Plane, can I just down load the Velocity file?  Or do I
pay the extra $20 for the file. Can any one tell me?  I made a simple one up
a year or so ago and then dropped it when I couldn't quite get the gear from
going up through the top of wing during retraction.  Other then that, it did
OK> I'm sure with this new one all those issues are worked out.  It looks
great and a lot of fun. Am I reading this right?
