I can not seem to get the website to accept my order for the new nose shock. One thing I did notice is that every time I add it to my cart, the price changes. I plan on calling them soon and ordering it on the phone. What have folks that have ordered the new nose shock mount paid for it? .

Thanks. Kurt

Regarding nose gear problems, Malcolm Collier (Hangar 18) suggested I email Jorge Bujanda. As many know, Jorge has an excellent Velocity web site. Since nose gear bumpers have been problematic with enough V drivers, I've decided to replace mine. I consider it a potential weak point in the nose gear system even if it's not the main cause of vibration. Jorge sais the factory is evaluating this part. Supply of parts for Advanced Antibibration Components bumper has been limited, but they should have a dozen or so in stock now since mine arrived a week ago.

It's unlikely the rubber bushing caused the shimmy. Low tire pressure or the
axle set screw being loose has caused shimmy on my Velo. If the set screw is
too loose the nose wheel will have side to side play, which you can find by
lifting the nose off the ground and checking for side play. I have an older
model fixed gear, so yours may be different. My fairing I attached with
screws to the leg. I have since removed the fairing. My nose gear leg
cracked at the upper bend exiting the fuselage. It was invisible until it
failed with resulting fuselage damage, so I can now inspect the tube readily
since there is no fairing. The fairing offered absolutely no airspeed
increase. You could also increase the tension on the Nose gear pivot nut, 16
lbs is somewhat low. w ----- Original Message -----
