REFLECTOR: Nose gear shimmy

Had a nose gear shimmy on landing today. Got some minor damage to the 
nosewheel fairing as well as the nose gear leg fairing. I jacked up the 
nose and tested the pull  at the axle, it was 16 lbs, which is somewhat 
low but I don't think it was the cause. I'm thinking it was more of a 
compression thing. How do I get at the rubber block at the top of the 
nose gear leg to check it?? Also, how do you get the nose gear leg 
fairing off?? thx Tom
