REFLECTOR: Product review

I have to second this opinion. I have used these cutting disks for the past couple years,
and they are GREAT!

I also have the perma-grit cutting disks and they do the job as well, but for 30$.

The $5 diamond disks from harbor freight are by far the best value.

I use a Rotozip with a flex extension... I burned through two Dremels before
using something with a bit more power.

  Happy December Collective,

Since it has been quiet on the Reflector, I thought I would offer up a small product review.

I recently purchased a set of Mini Diamond Cutting Disks from Harbor Freight.

  http://www.harborfreightusa.com

  Product # 31501

The set was on sale last time I was there. I think it was $5 or maybe $7. You get five disks and the arbor.

I needed to make the channel cut on the door receivers for the trim lock. I was not looking forward to using the standard Dremel cutting disks. You know, the reddish brown disks that might last a minute if you baby them.

These things were awesome. They cut through everything like butter. I got the whole job done with one disk and it was still cutting at the end of the job like it was brand new. Pretty good stuff and well worth the money.

  FYI,

  Andy
