REFLECTOR: Alternate air door

I am working on an alternate air door, and plan on using a stainless steel screen - one reason to keep pesky mice out of the induction system - as the door is inside the cowl close to the firewall.

I was wondering if silver soldering (brazing) it to a SS bracket would be acceptable - In addition if there would be any temperature concerns? - especially if an engine fire would occur.
