Al,
 I don't have any better ideas re the door fit  than you've suggested. If
forced, I'd pick option 3 without seeing it.  You're on a roll with wheel
pants finished and blocking for paint. Can't wait to see her take off. I've
discovered the problem with the low end RPM throttle on my Chevy. A computer
setting for the WOT was set at 37%. Needs to be 100% and that's the answer
to months of frustration. So simple it's embarrassing. Keep blocking and
sanding.
