REFLECTOR: Landing Gear Retract Prevention

The factory does offer a differential pressure switch that is connected to
pitot pressure. It should be installed in the cabin (not in the nose
compartment unless you want to run the static side of the switch to the
static port) and is set to allow the gear to retract when airspeed is above
4" of water or about 80 knots. It is connected in series with the up gear
switch. Normally open on the ground, closes at 80 knots.

Mine works very well. You will need to test it during each annual and each
time the plane is up on jacks. To get the gear to retract, a jumper will
need to be installed across it. Just don't forget to remove it before taking
the plane off the jacks.
