REFLECTOR: Fuel efficiency

Now that I have the fuel burn readout calibrated to within a few percent I
took notice of the cruise burn with my 20B.  I was pleased (surprised) to
find 9.6 gph at about 175 KTAS at 8500 ft.  21 mpg at 200 mph in statute
miles; and unleaded regular.  About as good as your average car at 65.

 

I have no idea how this compares to the typical IO360; but I think it is
quite good.
