Guys,

Eric Whyte has been kind enough to grant us a few
extra days on the application deadline - see below. As
Rich pointed out, this is really a fun event put on by
some great people.

Hi Eric,

I’ve participated in the Airventure Cup the last two
years, which has been a great experience mostly thanks
to you and your team.

Rich Guerra normally let’s the Velocity group know
when the applications are available and the deadlines.
He’s been busy with a new baby this year and the
deadline snuck up on us. I was hoping to get a larger
group of Velocities participating this year – Rich
created quite a buzz last year and I don’t want to see
that go to waste (this same buzz has seemingly kept
many builders motivated as well).

That all said, here’s my question: Any chance the 5/31
deadline (which is today!) is not absolute? I would
live to let the group know that they have say 5 days
to get their apps in? As you know, it takes a few days
to get the insurance cert, pics, app, and press info
together. Let me know.

Hope all is well,

Pat Shea
