A castellated nut would be a better choice - the company is looked to find a Grade-8 equivalent _drilled_ bolt - or a shop that can drill Grade-8 bolts.
Also, pls keep in mind that the current hardware has - to the best of our knowledge - been working faithfully without problems.

Excuse me, but why is the nut not castellated with cotter pin, as it should be. A thin washer will line up a half or no hole scenario. Even though I scrapped the original oilite bushing, bending tube/bolt method(bent two sets), and built a full bearing installation, I still use the old cotter pin.
