Barry,

See http://www.cattoprops.com/html/velocity_xl_props.html That shows a
prop that Dave Dent ran on his XLRG for a couple of years. It is 68" in
diameter and has 76" pitch, and Dave reported that was slightly too
little pitch for an RG. Craig Catto is now refinishing that prop for my
XLFG, and he expects it to be perfect for my project. My IO-540 made
about 290 hp on the dynamometer at Lycon.

Regards,

Keith Hallsten

Hello
I would like to know what pitch/Dia., people are using on their fix prop
with IO 540 300 hp XLFG if that makes any difference. What are your
speed, fuel flow, rpm, alt. and manifold pressure are. Are there any
recommendation from Velocity. Barry
