I think they said that they carried 1000 pounds of fuel and pilot- so
probably landing weight would be around 2,200

I am guessing that they can take off at 3,000lb with that 1,000hp back
there.  I suspect that maximum landing weight is much less than that.

Yeah a 3,000 lb gross weight is way up there huh?

It would be nice if the factory could tell us what kind of modifications
were made for speed and weight increases but Scott B's been mum so I assume
they are operating under a non-disclosure.
