Woo hoo! I hope to have a strake-closing party later this year at my house. I'll invite all the Velocity builders in the Metroplex. There'll be beer and barbecue, and maybe with 6 or 8 guys, I'll have two non-leaking fuel tanks by the end of the day!

I'm putting a new surplus 1950's fighter jet heated pitot tube in my nose right above the landing light. But to get the bayonet to poke out in the middle of the nose it needs to angle down about 7 degrees. Will that affect its accuracy very much?
