Subject: RE: Mouse Holes
In a standard tank, anything over a 1" hole would be good enough. I probably make them
about 1 1/2" at the bottom of the mouse and a little less than 1" high. In the RG
aircraft, I make almost all of them in the corner and they are probably the equivalent of
a 1 1/2" hole saw. If you have larger tanks that go all the way to the fuselage, I make
those holes leading to that, smaller so it slows down the flow a little so those would be
equivalent of a 1/2 to 3/4" hole. You can see from the pictures the different hole sizes.
When I jeffco the tanks, I use the brush and my finger to wipe glue onto the radius of
foam so it gets covered. Scott

Hi Scott,
How big should the mouse holes be in general for them to work properly?

Jorge
