I couldn't get Labiality for a RG (Liability) so I seal up my doors. It
a fix gear with pants on rear wheels. So latter on I can go back to
retract very easy but with out insurance. It's bad when you can't get
labiality( hours 300 tt). It was hard to get liability even with it been
a fix because it was registrar as RG.

If you have been watching you would have seen that I had been flying

the

Vesta prop. The first one I didn't like. They are building me new

blades.

A copy of the AeroComp stile blades. Should have had them last week.

Still

not this week. Will let you know how they work. I have a extra MT prop

for

a IO-540 160. I plan on selling it with my plane later this year. Dave

I would look into the Felix Prop.

I spoke with craig catto and he is really backed up with building

props for RV's. He said it would be at least a 6 month order time. Are

there other alternatives? Has anyone flown the Vesta prop?

Who is using a fixed pitch propeller on an XL-RG?

What prop size pitch?

I currently have a MT prop and it will need to go in for overhaul

and get the hub modified for the improved seals. In the mean time I

was thinking of using a fixed pitch and then having it as a spare.

If someone is running a FP what kind of performance are you getting?

Thanks

As nightfall does not come at once, neither does oppression. In both
instances, there is a twilight when everything remains seemingly
unchanged. And it is in such twilight that we all must be most aware of
change in the air however slight lest we become unwitting victims of the
darkness.
