John Abraham and Ken Baker have arrived at Front Range Airport (Denver) and
will be showing off the Velocity TXL-5 RG aircraft at the EAA Rocky Mt.
Fly-In tomorrow and this weekend. If you have a chance, please drop by to
say "Hi". N296TC made the flight from Sebastian to Denver in less than
8-flight hours with one fuel-stop in Little Rock, Arkansas. By the way,
I've got to say how impressed I am with the flight-tracker feature at
http://flightaware.com/. What an awsome web sight! Simply type in the
N-number of any aircraft on an IFR flight plan and - 'bam' - there it is in
living color - showing a map with the aircraft's location and information
regarding altitude, ground speed, time enroute, time and distance to
destination ... good stuff!
N296TC is heading to Long Beach on Monday to meet up with the people from
KitPlanes magazine. They plan to do an in-depth pilot report and cover
photo of the turbo-charged Velocity for an upcoming issue. Wednesday -->
the aircraft will fly from Long Beach to Sacramento --> Thursday in
Marysville --> Fri, Sat, Sun is the EAA Golden West program. Hoping to see
many Velocity owners/builders at Marysville during the EAA Golden West
Program. If there is enough interest, we will do a pizza lunch on Saturday.
