REFLECTOR: BLUE MOUNTAIN AUTO PILOT

Tom,

Disregard my instructions for the 500 to 800' AGL. The BMA autopilot 
installation guide page 18 (Software Configuration and initial testing) 
under the instructions for the Aileron Setup, step 2 states to go to the 
settings page and set your altimeter to 1200' MSL. It also states"For safety 
the autopilot will not engage below this altitude." I knew I had heard 
something like this before on the reflector and should have checked it out 
before I opened my mouth to try to help, sorry for the misinformation. Maybe 
this will help if you haven't already accomplished this step. It does seem 
strange that BMA thought this was a safety measure when there are plenty of 
airports above this altitude. My airport is 1350' MSL already. It looks like 
this should have been based on AGL not MSL.
