REFLECTOR: 173 Gross Weight-Was Brake authority

My gross is 2900 lbs. I have a fuil 300 horsepower (high compression
IO-540).

I true out at around 205 to 210 knots.

I converted it to a two-seater (coupe). I made the back a platform for
baggage (gold clubs etc.).

The seat studs are still there and so are headset jacks so it can be easily
converted back to a four-place.

I did not build it for a family cross-country machine. I simply wanted a
"screamer" ... A sports car in the sky.

Now ... Here is the mystery ... My empty weight is 1800 lbs. That's because
my gear legs, wings and bottom are beefed up.
