REFLECTOR: scales

Hi Joe-

The company is called "Will Knott"  in Enid, OK- telephone number is
580-237-8989  model XL-440- great deal too- I believe it was under $40 - I
checked it and it is accurate, even if the load is not exactly centered.

I purchased one of those talking scales for the mass-challenged ( 440 lbs
capacity) as recommended last month here on the reflector- subsequently,
someone had mentioned that these scales will not work for aircraft W&B
because the weight must be removed before the scale will give a reading- I
went ahead and tried it anyway, and the one that I have will give the weight
both graphically and verbally without removing the weight- just to let you
all know that it seems like it will work..
