Sounds like you are moving along. You can give me a call if you think you can

One quick way to test your oil lines comes to mind. I did this with my 
coolant lines that run to the nose cooler/heater. 
 
Get a handful of fittings that allow you to put a shraeder valve in one end 
and block off the other end. 
Then slowly pump it up with your air compressor.  Cheap, and works well.
