REFLECTOR: Battery Isolator

I don't know if it helps you guys, or if you've seen it. It helps fill in
the picture some. Nuckoll's did a 4 page article: "What's all this Battery
Isolator Stuff About" You can find it on his web site, or maybe the
matronics archives or I can email to you guys.

In the end I will likely not have an "in flight" marine type isolator. And
I struggled w/ keeping the #2 batt and distribution/recharge wires
completely isolated, and still keep all the features I envisioned.

If it helps any I have a text explanation of where I am headed with all this
and why on my web site under "wiring". www.knightflyr.com NOTHING IS HOOKED
UP. And the website generally is a neglected sub-project. I am in the
throws now of sorting out all the details. Every time I go to pick up a
pair of crimpers, I am made aware that I have more details to resolve.
Nuckolls Z-30 doesn't work for me, and I am single alternator.
Terry

Hey Brian-
Can you send me a schematic of how you installed the West Marine isolator? I
have one also- and trying to make sure I get it in there correctly-
currently have separate relays for each battery installed, and I have a
cross over relay , but not sure if I will still need it or not......

Thanks Kurt/Brian,

Any comments AL.

I was looking at the ASE Sure-Power 70Amp unit for $40.
Guess I'll buy and try it.
