OK, this may sound stupid.......... Every transport pic I see is tail
first. If I was to transport this without having seen it done, I would
do it nose first to minimize drag on the ride. Why not? What am I
missing?

Subject: REFLECTOR: Ooops....I did it again!

Well a few years ago I moved my non-flying Velocity from CO to
Alaska........didn't finish it before I had to move BACK to
Colorado.......Loaded the Velo on the trailer, tossed in two Golden
Retrievers (and a bunch of tools and survival gear...and dog food)and
last week I drove the 3400 miles with the rig
pictured......(approximately 75 hours driving in a little less than five
days)1200 miles of 2-lane snowpack (it was minus 25° for most
of it), 1100 miles of slush/mud and 1000 miles of freeway......the Velo
got dirty, but otherwise suffered no damage! It now has almost 7000
miles on it...and has YET to FLY!! Hopefully this summer it will
finally get miles in the AIR! It is now off of the trailer and safely
in the garage/hangar in Brighton , CO awaiting all of the parts the
movers packed .... 13'9" high (4.2 Meters for traveling in Canada!)
on the trailer.......There were no overpasses for the first 1200 miles
of the Al-Can Highway...and no close calls the rest of the way....Whew!
