Dave;

Did you get the VP-3 listed on their website
(http://www.vestav8.com/products2.htm) ?
It's the only 3-blade pusher version I see there. Seems a bit heavy at 60
lbs; but the price is certainly in a more reasonable range.

Mac I got my Vesta prop yesterday. Looks great, and I can use my MT spinner
it looks like with a little mod. Or you can buy their spinners for $600. I
ordered the hydro type but you can buy one with electric pitch control as
well. With the electric you can get beta as well.

The blades are all glass, no wood in them. E-glass and S-glass with high
temp epoxy. Came in a lager plywood box.

The cost is right right around half the price of a MT. And they are built in
the good old USA. NJ No inport duty cost or having anyone to put it
together for you before you get. It comes dirrect to you all put together.

Vesta also is putting out an overhaul manual for them so the builder can
work on it as well. As you can see from the MT props it don't take a brain
surgeon to work on them. Yes some skill is required but no big deal.

They also put out a vibration checker that you mount on the prop and read it
in the cockpit via blue tooth. They will be getting this out to any one
that buys their props if they feel they have a vibration problem. They put
it out on a loan.

So far I'm real pleased but flight testing will tell the whole picture.
