REFLECTOR: Canard down in NC?

Looks like a Cozy. I think I see the aft edge of the canopy opening
which extends completely across from side to side as if the canopy
encompassed the entire top half of that section, such as in a Cozy,
Vari-EZ and Long EZ.  Too wide for a Vari or Long-EZ.

 

Looks like he crashed at a pretty high speed, considering that both
wings were ripped from the center section spar, the engine is off the
firewall and the nose is gone.
