This Copper-clad aluminum (CCA) aircraft wire is now available from
SteinAir. Eric Jones (Perihelion) is letting Stein Bruch sell it for him.
The last time I checked, Stein hadn't updated his website to show the
availability, but if you call and ask . . .

This is a neat product, especially for canards in which the battery and
starter are on the opposite ends of the ship. Unfortunately, I already
bought copper #2.

This is the link to some primary wire which is copper clad aluminum, 40% to
50% lighter than solid copper.
<http://periheliondesign.com/fatwires_files/fatwiremanual.pdf> AWG-2 FatWire
Manual.pdf on the page has the claims for it. Supposed to have same
current capacity as solid an half the weight.
