REFLECTOR: Blue Mountain EIFS

Near the end of the year GRT is bringing out a hi-res screen that a
little big bigger than the current one. The current GRT screen is fine
for PFD and engine data, but is a little coarse for things like maps and
fine detail. Like everything, the bigger, higher res screen will be
more bucks, but that's how those things work!! To GRT's credit, they
will upgrade an old unit to the new screen while giving 100% credit for
the purchase of the old unit toward the new.

Even the GRT manual, which left something to be desired (well, actually
a lot) has been upgraded and improved. As Scott and Craig commented,
GRT is a good company that delivers a lot of bang for the buck...and I
doubt would ever abandon hardware for a long, long time.

I second Craig's assessment of GRT. I had a 6 cyl. GRT engine monitor
and graphics display in hand to replace the 4 cylinder engine monitor

I had removed. Because of space constraints I had not considered I
requested a return/refund after having the unit 10 months. It was still

in the original box. They accepted the unit for a full refund with very

few questions.

A show of integrity and honesty that was really refreshing. I highly
recommend GRT as a company to do business with.

When I have the money to replace my "6 pack" with a full size EFIS, they

are at the top of my list.
