REFLECTOR: ADC oil filter

John,
 An oil filter cannot keep your oil looking new. As the oil works
to lubricate the internal parts, it suspends deposits which turns
the oil black, New oil will turn black within 4 to 5 hours, just means
that it is doing it's job.

Just be thank full that the filter isn't filled with junk, it means that
your engine is in good condition and not shedding materials.
The ADC filter is a worth the cost.
