I learned to fly in the day b/4 headsets in 172s, and was laid up 2 weeks at age 6 with tonsolitus and adnoids the size of vienna sausages. Threw in a bit of the rock-n-roll concerts too. I empathize with the deaf (what, what?) and thank Randy for letting me help them out.

I too voted. I realize this may not be the correct forum, but I have a spot in my heart for the hearing impaired since my youngest has been profoundly impaired (politically correct - read as deaf) since she was 3 months old. My hopes and prayers, as well as my vote, go to this group for success in receiving the grant, especially since the hearing impaired are often over looked when it comes to societal sympathies for the disabled. Off the soap box and back to building.

Dang, Scott. You finally got manners but now you're back to your old crappy self again.

My parents were deaf. I voted for the grant. Thanks to any one else who took the time!!!

It only takes a minute to vote online. If you can help, this ends today. And if you could forward this to your friends, too, every vote will help. Thanks!

Hi everyone,

Please help Northern Voices, an oral school for deaf and hard of
hearing kids in Minnesota to get a $10,000 grant. They are neck and
neck with another organization and time is running out as the
competition is over on Sunday, April 15th. If Northern Voices wins,
the school will receive a matching grant for a total of $20,000 to
teach children with hearing loss how to talk.

The director of the program was a teacher of my daughter's and
currently serves as her mainstream consultant. Northern Voices is a
Moog Curriculum School and is very deserving of this grant. All you
need to do is vote for the school today, tomorrow and Sunday. Please
vote each day. Your support would be GREATLY appreciated.

Here's what you do:

Click on www.northernvoices. org
Then click on the link on the right side of their page that
says, "Click Here to Vote Daily"
Select Northern Voices
Enter the word they give you in the box provided
Click on "Vote" (or "Enter" or "Submit" – I'm not sure exactly what
the submission button says)

If you can, please do this today, tomorrow AND Sunday and help them
win! If you're interested in more information about the school and
the FastBreak Foundation NBA Fan Appreciation contest for this grant,
please see the following link:
