REFLECTOR: RG Questions

My main gear bolts are relatively tight - just loose
enough so that the gear still pivots freely. They
definitely don't turn with the gear legs. The majority
of the friction is between the ends of the steel
sleeves that are butted up to the oilite bushings
which is why having them oilite helps.

I made sure the wide area washers came in full contact
with the firewall/bulkhead so any for/aft load would
be shared by both structures and reasonably well
distributed. My aluminum spacers have a close
tolerance but can barely be turned by a finger. I
check them regularly - they haven't changed in 200
hours. Here's a pic of the bolt head showing the built
up area around the wide area washers:
