REFLECTOR: Aileron Cables(Fire-sleeving)

Keith,

The original message was in reference to an exhaust leak causing a problem. 
A heat shield located where the exhaust passes close to the aileron cable is 
a good idea because the first indication that you have a leak without it may 
be the cable seizing.  Engine fire is a whole different animal and yes 
firesleeve would be a plus.
