REFLECTOR: up elevator travel

I've got 23 up and 27 down now, unpainted.  The up travel is limited by the
top of the elevator hitting the trailing edge of the canard. I was just
wondering if I'll lose a degree when I put a few coats of paint on top of
the elevator and underneath the trailing edge lip.

Sounds like maybe you should sand back the edge of the canard a bit.  I
think the up travel should be limited by the out-board counterweights
hitting the top of the pocket.
