MessageFor those with AHRS units, what manufacture and model number sensor unit have you used? And how would you rate the sensors accuracy and repeatability especially in turbulence?

Thanks,
Joe

  Hiroo,

Mine are on a shelf just ahead of the rear bulkhead. The shelf required moving the back seats ahead a little bit but they were already so far back it took a long distance call to talk to someone in the front seats so it was no loss. Works fine. Just remember: working out electrical glitches is a pain, but it still beats sanding.

For those who are flying with AHRS / Magnetometer...

    Where did you put yours?

It appears that the woes I have been having with my attitude indication might have something to do with the proximity of ny AHRS to the engine / mags, etc.

The thing is, though... On the nose, there is the big battery pushing a lot of electrtons. Back where I have it is close to engine and mags. Over on the strake is where the flasher power units are... Where did you put yours? Any experience with good and bad?

    Hiroo
