REFLECTOR: VGs

Subject: REFLECTOR: VGs

 

I've searched the archives but wondered what the current take was on the
best VGs.  I see CCI's VGs of polycarbonate at $0.50 (supposedly sun
resistant) and the Velo Factory VGs at about $0.10 (not sun resistent and
become embrittled in about 2-3 years from UV exposure).  So, who's got the
greatest/latest idea for the best VGs?

Don’t know about latest/greatest, but the ones I’ve experimented with on the
wing root coolers entrance and exits I made from clear polycarbonate.  Buy
the angle from Mcmaster Carr.  Smallest dimension is ½ x ½ x .050” and is
about a buck for a 2 ft length.  Cut to size with wire cutter, metal shears,
etc.
