REFLECTOR: Aileron Rigging

The first item is that I was told to adjust the ailerons with about 1/8" 
droop so that they would be in trail during flight.  This is because the 
control system has some give in it no matter what you do.  Second, if your 
right aileron is higher than the left, then you would have a heavy left 
wing.  I experience heavy left wing when flying solo because there is 
nothing to counterbalance my 180# in the left seat.  I don't think that the 
ailerons have to be in trail but the solution is simply to set them up with 
the appropriate droop on the ground.  I would recommend that you carefully 
consider the weight distribution in the cockpit before you resort to 
re-rigging the plane.

  John and I want some opinions on our aileron rigging.  We have a “heavy” 
right wing.  When we keep the aircraft level both ailerons are 3/16” up from 
“in-trail”.  The right wing is up more.  But on the ground they adjust to 
in-trail with the stick centered.  Any suggestions?
