REFLECTOR: barn door speed brake

Sorry Len. I am not flying. I did go up w/ Ken Mishner's (sp?) SE and
it does cushion the nose drop for him. From my own non-velo experience
if you can "dirty up" and carry power down final you have more
aeroplatform control than when you are at or nearly at idle power. I
have been told the SB was for the fixed gear models since that is their
situation more than the retract.
Ask me in two months or so!!

Is your XL a RG?
If so, I have never seen a RG with speed brakes.
Extend the gear and that is a lot of drag.
