Thanks Tom, 

That is the whole reason I decided on more HP in the first place. My home 
base is 5000' and in summer DA can get to 8000'-9000'.  I'll also be flying to 
GUC, and you know how it gets there. 

My runway is only 4400' long, so that can be a challenge for a canard in the 
summer.
