As an update. I just got off the phone with EAA and they tell me there is no requirement for an experimental plane to have a spinner and that the locknuts on the IVO prop bolts cover the safe-tie issue. They are going to "take care of things". I'll let you all know what that turns out to be. Thanks again everyone for your comments. John
